- Control of a wide range of Optical Monitors for deposition of multilayer structures: both broad and narrow band approaches in reflection and transmission. Integration of third-party optical analysis software.
- Full process automation (control of the components of vacuum systems) and monitoring of growth via crystal monitors and optical monitors.
- Design, construction, and implementation of specialized test fixturing including robotic, electronic, and optical components.

- Over 25 year’s experience using Object-Oriented languages
- Use of Design Patterns, Refactoring, and Unit Testing
- Large scale projects (~1000 classes) that fully automate multilayer deposition systems
- Integration of third-party math/statistical packages and graphical presentation
